Hartselle Camp Meeting scheduled for June 22-27

Complete plans for the 115th annual Hartselle Camp Meeting were announced last week by Rob Cain, president of the Hartselle Camp Meeting Association.

The six-day encampment will open on Sun., June 22, at 7 p.m. with Hartselle evangelist as guest speaker and conclude on Fri., June 27 with a 7 p.m. service.

Services will be conducted twice daily at 10:30 and 7 p.m. in the historic Hartselle Tabernacle; breakfast, dinner and supper will served in Waits Dining Hall and overnight accommodations will be provided in the Puckett Dormitory.

In addition, the Kids World Building provides comfortable space for kids to be kids and learn from God’s word. Kids World is scheduled at 9 a.m., recreation at 1 p.m. and arts and crafts at 6 p.m. each day of camp.

Camp evangelists are George Mathison, senior pastor at Auburn United Methodist Church and Mark Nysewander, associate pastor at RiverStone Church in Kennesaw, Ga.

Ron Bean, minister of music at First United Methodist Church in Hartselle will serve as music director. Rob Cain, senior pastor at The Lighthouse in Tuscaloosa will be student director and Scott McCugh, a P.E. teacher from Greensboro will be the children’s director. Camp missionary will be Melton Short, founder and president of Bible Made Simple Ministries.
