William N. ‘Bill’ Alexander

Funeral for William N. “Bill” Alexander, 86, of Hartselle was Mon., June 16, at 2 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home with Ralph Henderson officiating.

Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. Alexander died Fri., June 13, 2014. He was born July 29, 1927, in Lawrence County to the late Monro and Minnie Ola Alexander. He retired from South Central Bell/AT&T. He was a member of Summit Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Carpenter Alexander; two brothers, Tennis Alexander and Fred Alexander; and a sister, Hazel Hansche.

He is survived by two sons, Mike Alexander (Virginia) of Hartselle and Patrick Alexander (Carolyn) of Decatur; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Travis Alexander (Joyce), Charles Ray Alexander (Kim) and L.B. Alexander, (Charlene); and three sisters, Glenda Sneed (Herschel), Jan Weaver (Ralph) and Lavern Narmore (Don).

Pallbearers were Ralph Weaver, Travis Alexander, Charles Ray Alexander, Patrick Alexander, Mike Alexander, L. B. Alexander and Herschel Sneed.

Honorary pallbearers were nephews, Chris Alexander, Larry Alexander, Marcus Alexander, Marcus Alexander, Buddy Norris, Donnie Ray Narmore, Curtis Narmore, Rick Alexander, Phil Alexander and Cleve Hansche.
