God is God of second chances

I’m so thankful that God is a God of second chances. In Jonah 3, we find where God gave him a second chance, too. We find that Jonah didn’t listen to God but God still had compassion on him. We are the same way also. When we don’t listen to God he often times gets our attention and shows us we need to turn from our sinful ways. Jonah, like us, ran from God but God gave him a second chance to carry out His work. You may feel unworthy to serve God because of past mistakes and bad choices but remember God is a God of second chances.

The S.W.A.P. group (seniors with a purpose) of Somerville Baptist Church enjoyed a road trip to Top O’ the River in Guntersville. All enjoyed a delicious meal.
