A graveside service for Betty L. Maxwell, 80, of Falkville was Tues., July 1 at 1 p.m. at Herring Cemetery with the Rev. A. Ray Lee officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Maxwell died Sat., June 28, 2014, at Falkville Health Care.  She was born in Morgan County Nov. 28, 1933, to Frank Benjamin Garnett and Minnie Lee McDaniel Garnett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Maxwell and a son, James “Bubba” Maxwell.

She is survived by four sons, Randy Maxwell and Terry Maxwell, both of Falkville, Danny Maxwell of Moulton and David Maxwell of Danville; a daughter, Donna Farris of Falkville; a brother, Hillard Garnett of Falkville, 19 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Bobby Russell, T. J. Maxwell, Billy Russell, Chris Maxwell, Mike Bean, Robert Maxwell and Danny Clark.
