Leave a lasting impression on people

What kind of impression do you leave on those you meet? Whether we realize it or not those we meet each and everyday we leave an impression on them. Was it good, bad, unkind and would the person want to meet us again. We all need to have a Christ-like spirit and leave a lasting impression.

Happy anniversary wishes to Rickey and Dee Wright on July 11 and Mickey and Lauren Allen on July 13.

Somerville Baptist Church has announced a summer Bible conference “Go Deeper in the Word.” The conference will be held on Thursday evenings with a focus on personal spiritual growth, strengthening the family and reaching people with the gospel of Christ. Through edifying music, an exciting children’s program and Christian fellowship each evening will be a fresh experience of God’s love. Speakers will be Dr. Johnny Pope on July 17, Dr. Jim Schetter on July 24 and Dr. Joe Arthur on July 31.

Ladies Enrichment Retreat is July 25 and 26 at Somerville Baptist Church. “Keep calm and Be Filled” with special speaker Marilee Schettler. Conference cost is $40. (includes meals and all conference materials). The conference is for all ladies age s 13 and older. There will no nursery services. For more information, contact the church office at 256-778-8844.
