Hartselle Chapel Church, located at 2851 Hwy 31 SW, is having its God’s Giveaway July 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be free hot dogs and cookies, school supplies, clothes, household items and more including drawing for gift cards. Single Parents Day will be at Hartselle First Assembly July 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All activities, food and school supplies are free of charge to Hartselle area single parents. Services provided include haircuts, manicures, car wash, childcare, lunch, resume’ and financial seminars. The Soul Seekers Quartet will perform at Walnut Grove Baptist Church on Bethel Road Sun., July 27 at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Cedar Plains Christian Church located on Cedar Plains Road in Massey will celebrate its 177th year with a homecoming service Aug. 3 at 11 a.m. The church’s new minister, Bro. Phillip Gilbert, will bring the message and a covered dish lunch will follow.

Cedar Creek Freewill Baptist will have a revival Aug. 3-6 with Bro. Dennis Reeves of Cullman speaking. Sunday service will begin at 6 p.m. and weeknight services will be at 7 p.m. The church is located one mile south of Thompson Road off U.S. 31 on the left.

Morgan County Youth United will host a joint worship service Wed., Aug. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the Brewer High School’s James Tucker Stadium. Music will be led by students from a praise band made of from High School students from many different churches for a united worship service. Michael Walters will be bringing a message. This is a free event. Gates will open at 6 p.m. Concession will be sold and the proceeds from these concession sales and a love offering will go to benefit First Priority and FCA in area schools. The Market at Good Shepherd, 3809 Spring Ave. SW in Decatur, will have its second  annual market on the church’s front lawn with area farmers and artisans each Monday Aug. 4 through Oct. 27 from 2 to 6 p.m. There will be entertainment and kids’ activities.

Liberty Baptist Church, 1206 Lane Road NW, holds services each Sunday with Bible study at 9:45 a.m., Bible preaching at 11 a.m., discipleship training at 5:30 p.m. and Bible preaching at 6 p.m.

Fairview-The Grace Place in Falkville offers Celebrate Recovery ministry.
