Falkville Town Clerk Dawn Estes recently completed requirements to earn designation as an Alabama Certified Payroll Specialist.

Estes joins a group of 41 Alabama payroll administrators with this distinction.

“Municipal leaders are to be commended for supporting Mrs. Estes’s efforts to complete this structured and tested professional development program,” said Donald Dees, President of the Alabama Public Personnel Association. “They recognize that all of the citizens of the Town of Falkville benefit from quality services provided by highly motivate and well trained municipal employees like Dawn Estes.”

Graduates of the program must complete four courses of detailed practical and applied tested course work involving all aspects of payroll administration. The certificate was presented to Estes Aug. 5 at a ceremony held in Orange Beach.
