Momma’s Roadhouse makes Enticing Eight
Participants in the Alabama’s Best Steak contest voted Momma’s Roadhouse of Falkville into the top “Enticing Eight” steakhouses of Alabama.
The Alabama Cattlemen’s Association is hosting this contest. The top eight will be narrowed down to the Fiery Four this week through more public voting. The winner will be determined after a discreet visit from a team of judges. The winning restaurant will be announced at a media event to kick off the 50th anniversary of October Beef Month in Alabama.
Other Enticing Eight restaurants include Simp McGee’s in Decatur, Papa Sal’s Italian Restaurant in Pinson, Wallace’s Restaurant in Centreville, Diamond Jim’s and Mrs. Donna’s in Livingston, Good Ole’ Boys in Auburn, Conestoga Steakhouse in Dothan and Preston’s Steak and Grill in Luverne.
The contest has already counted 27,888 votes since the competition started in July with nominations.
