Hartselle named 14th safest city in Alabama
Hartselle has been named one of the 20 safest cities in Alabama, according to a blog by Safe Choice Security.
Kim Andrews, Community Relations Coordinator for Safe Choice Security, said the company compared crime statistics (including both property and violent crimes) of over 300 cities in Alabama to determine our list of the safest cities.
“Hartselle, AL should be very proud to have made it to the top of our list,” Andrews said.
Communities with populations below 5,000 were excluded from the rankings.
Here is what the blog said about Hartselle:
Hartselle, AL is a town of 14,000 located in Morgan County in northern Alabama. Hartselle is a part of the Huntsville- Decatur area and is just 10 miles from Decatur. The low crime rate found there is just one of the many advantages the city has to offer. Great schools, impressive health care, organized emergency public information and exciting shopping choices make it a good choice for those looking to relocate.
