Funeral for Glenda Maye Fuller Nau, 73, of Hartselle was Tues., Aug. 26, at 4 p.m. at Hartselle Church of Christ with Phillip Hines officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Nau died Sat. , Aug. 23, 2014, at her residence . She was born Dec. 10, 1940, in Morgan County to Arville W. and Ruby Lentz Fuller. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Brian Scott Nau; a brother, Dwight Fuller; and two sisters, Linda Fuller and Judy Fuller. Mrs. Nau retired from Decatur General as a RN after 20 years of service. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and education.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Leo Nau Jr. of Hartselle; a son, Michael Kelly Nau (Sonya) of Gadsden; two daughters, Donnette Vinzant (Mike) of Crestview, Fla. and Beth Anne Owens (Gary) of Hartselle; a brother: Larry Fuller (Cherie) of Decatur; a sister, Lynne Brooks of Hartselle; four grandchildren, Ashleigh Downey (Dusty), Whitney Owens, Michael Vinzant (Shanna) and Tyler Nau; five great-grandchildren, Hailey Vinzant, Alayna Vinzant, Bryn Owens, Keegan Downey and Hailey Downey.
Pallbearers were Talmadge Reynolds, Tom Sneed, Daryl Simms, Alan Walker, Jimmy Reeder and Jimmy Summerford.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Naveen Lobo, Dr. Charles Prickett and Hospice of the Valley.
