Falkville Public Library is conducting a book sale during regular library hours Monday through Friday.

Members of First Baptist Church Falkville extend birthday wishes to the following who have birthdays in September: Deborah Thompson on Sept. 18, Chad Halbrooks on Sept. 22, Shaquita Thompson on Sept. 23, Dorothy Lott, Riley Thompson and Sarah Laughmiller, all on Sept. 25.

Members of the youth group at First Baptist Church Falkville went to eat at Red Robin and to the Monaco at Bridge Street to see the movie “When the Game Stands Tall.”

Children and the children’s leaders at First Baptist Church Falkville was hosted at a Grandparents Breakfast Sept. 7. The serving tables were covered with orange cloths and centered with mums. Forty grandparents attended the event.
