Sparkman sets Fall Fun Night
Sparkman Junior High School has announced plans for its annual Fall Fun Night.
The PTO-sponsored fundraiser will be held Thur., Oct. 23, beginning with a hamburger and hot dog meal in the school cafeteria at 5:30 p.m. Games and other fun-filled family-oriented activities will be from 6 to 8 p.m. in the classrooms.
Events will include a haunted house, cakewalk, bingo, fishpond, sucker pool and much more. Tickets will be 50 cents each and one to three will be needed to participate in the games.
“We expect a big crowd of our own students and family members,” said project chairperson Sandy Wilkinson, “but everyone is welcome. There’s plenty of fun things for the entire family to do.”
She said proceeds from the fundraiser will go back into the school to provide technology and other classroom needs.
