Annual Caring Day set for Nov. 7

Nov. 7 is Annual Caring Day in Hartselle. Canned and nonperishable food collected will help feed needy families in the area. If you live in the Hartselle area, you can leave your canned goods beside your recycling container on that day.

This food will be distributed from The Caring Place in Hartselle and food pantries at local churches. A container will be placed at Shady Grove Church to collect canned goods between now and Nov. 7.

Alabama has the second highest food hardship rate in the nation with 19.2 percent of the population being in need of food. Please support our needy families and donate canned goods.
