Church Calendar for Nov. 5

A Winter Rummage Sale at Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 721 Pickens St., SW in Hartselle, will be  Nov.  6 -8. Thursday and Friday will be 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday will be 7 a.m. to noon.

 

Walnut Grove Baptist Church, located at 622 S. Bethel Road in Decatur, 2.5 miles south of Alabama 67 in Priceville, will have Jason Runnels in concert Sun., Nov, 9, at its 11 a.m. service. He will lead in worship and song. Everyone is invited.

McKendree United Methodist Church, Massey, is having THRIVE contemporary praise and worship and food at McKendree’s Bridge Ministry Center, Nov. 9, at 2:30 p.m.

Faith Independent Church, located on Bell Springs Road on Lacon Mountain, has services each Sunday at 10 a.m. for Sunday school and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. for worship (except on third Sunday nights–no service). Wednesday’s service is at 7 p.m. We are a non-denominational church. Pastor is Bro James E. Mills Jr.

 

Pattillo Street Church of God holds Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. (classes for all ages) and praise and worship at 10:30 a.m. A Sunday evening service is held at 5 p.m. and a Wednesday service at 7 p.m., including youth activities. The church is located at 1211 Pattillo St. SW in Hartselle and the pastor is the Rev. John McPeek.

 

Salem United Methodist Church on Barkley Bridge Road has a food pantry for the needy. Call the church at 256-773-8030 and leave a message. The church will try to help those who are hungry.
