Funeral for Betty Waugh Bryant, 75, of Childersburg, will be Sat., Nov. 15, at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with the Rev. Frank Thompson officiating and Curtis and Son Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., Nov.14, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Bryant died Nov. 11, 2014, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. She was born Aug. 26, 1939. She attended Grace Baptist Church in Childersburg and was a Physical Therapy Assistant. She was the former president of the Childersburg Quilting Guild and was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was preceded in death by parents, Ivan T. and Eunice Ann Waugh; a brother, Gary Waugh; and sons, Edward L. Bryant and Jefferey S. Bryant.

She is survived by her husband, Charles C. Bryant of Childersburg; sons, Charles C. Bryant Jr. (Gloria) of Chattanooga, Tenn., Steven R. Thomas (Linda) of Deatsville, daughter, Kathy L. Stephens (Wayne) of Jacksonville, Fla,, daughter-in-law, Sandy Bryant of Verbena; brothers, Allen Waugh (Linda) and Tom Waugh (Lisa); sisters, Jeanette Waugh Kassaw and Margaret Waugh Hart; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
