Ellis Ray Warren

A graveside service for Ellis Ray Warren, 87, of Danville will be Sat., Nov. 22, at 3 p.m. at Salem Methodist Cemetery with the Rev. Emilio Sanchez and Bro. Richard Williams officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Sat., Nov. 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Warren died Wed., Nov. 19, 2014, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born May 12, 1927, in Lawrence County to Martin Henry Warren and Grace Ellen Parker Warren. Mr. Warren was a self-employed farmer, and a beloved father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Murl Jane Powell Warren and his parents.

He is survived by three sons, Marty Warren (Connie) of Alvaton, Ky., Mike Hanners (Debbie) of Danville and Tommy Hanners (Mary) of Hartselle; eight grandchildren, Preston Warren, Shawn Warren, Caitlin Warren, Dena Free, Kris Hanners, Tammy Burns, Derek Parker and Benji Hanners; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Benji Hanners, Todd Heflin, Kris Hanners, Preston
Warren, Shawn Warren and Derek Parker.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorial donations be made to Salem United Methodist Church.
