Pet food is being collected at several locations in the area through Dec. 19.

Donations will be divided among Carpenter’s Cabinet in Falkville, Good Samaritan in Hartselle and CCC in Decatur to benefit families in need. The pet food will be distributed along with the regular food supplies to meet the needs of local pets.

Donations are accepted at Colors Salon, 701 Nanceford Road, Edward Jones Investments in downtown Hartselle and Avanti Computers, 1042 Beltline Road in Decatur.
