Farm Bill education meeting scheduled

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Executive Director Daniel Robinson announces dates and locations for public meetings on new Agricultural Risk Coverage (ARC) and the Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs which provide revenue and price loss payments to eligible producers for the 2014 through 2018 crop years. These meetings are being conducted in collaboration with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and the Alabama Farmers Federation.

Local producers are invited to attend the following public meeting session:

December 12, 2014 – Tanner, 1:00 p.m., Calhoun Community College, Aerospace Building, 6250 U. S. 31

The opportunity to choose between the new 2014 Farm Bill established programs, Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC), began Nov. 17 and continues through March 31, 2015.
