Falkville perfect against Meek, Hatton, Athens Bible

Falkville girls 55, Meek 25

 

Autumn Eddy and McKenzie Smith led Falkville (7-4) with 10 points each in the easy win while Jacie Andrews added 8.

Falkville led comfortably at the end of each quarter with a 20-6 advantage at the end of the first, a 43-13 lead at halftime and a 53-18 advantage at the end of the third quarter to earn a running clock in the fourth quarter.

 

Falkville boys 66, Meek 34

 

Falkville exploded for 25 points in the second quarter and 23 in the third quarter to blow out Meek.

Andy Dove led all scorers with 21 while Ryan Bradford added 14 points and 10 rebounds. Caleb Anders also had 8 points in the win.

Falkville trailed Meek 13-11 at the end of the first quarter, 21-15, at the half and 27-26 at the end of the third quarter before pulling out the win.

 

Falkville girls 48, Hatton 32

 

Falkville’s Lady Blue Devils jumped out to a 20-4 start and went on to defeat Hatton 48-32 in a home game Dec. 8.

Falkville led 29-15 at halftime and 48-32 after three quarters.

Bailey Anders paced the Lady Blue Devils in scoring with 12 points. She was followed by Jacie Andrews and Autumn Eddy who had  10 points each. Makenzie Smith scored 7 points and Emily Mickelson had 6 points.

 

Falkville boys 37, Hatton 36

 

Andy Dove hit two free throws with 10 seconds left to take the lead and seal the win. He finished with 6 points. Luke Randolph hit a three-point shot with about a minute to play to help erase a four-point Hatton lead.

Ryan Bradford paced the Blue Devils with 11 points and 10 rebounds while Luke Randolph had 10 points.

 

Falkville girls 51, Athens Bible 10

 

Falkville’s Lady Blue Devils outscored Athens Bible 16-0 in the first quarter and went on to win 51-10 in a road game Dec. 9.

Falkville was ahead 32-3 at halftime and led 45-9 after three quarters.

Autumn Eddy led Falkville with 12 points and seven rebounds. Bailey Anders, Katelyn Boyer, McKenzie Smith and McKenzie Newman each scored eight points.

 

Falkville boys 59, Athens Bible 34

 

Falkville’s Blue Devils improved their record to 6-2 with a 59-34 win over Athens Bible on the road Dec. 9.

Andy Dove paced the Blue Devils in scoring with 20 points. Nic Martin followed with 10 points and Nate Drinkard added 8 points.
