Gene Campbell

A graveside service for Gene Campbell, 83, of Eva will be Sun., Dec. 21, at 3 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville, Tenn. with the Rev. Tim Kinney officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Sat., Dec. 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Campbell died Thur., Dec. 18, 2014, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born March 20, 1931, in Morgan County, to Frank Curtis Campbell and Cordie Ellen Sanders Campbell. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jim Campbell and Bill Campbell; and his first wife, Helen Louise Campbell.

He is survived by his wife, Willodean Campbell; son, Bruce Campbell (Susie) of Corrytone, Tenn.; two step-sons, DeWayne Fowler (Diona) of Trinity and David Fowler (Stacey) of Oden Ridge; a step-daughter, Jackie Kinney (Tim) of Vinemont; nine grandchildren, Katelyn Baker (Jonathon), Blake Campbell, Blake Kinney, Brooke Hudson (Wayne), Destiny Fowler, Desiree Fowler, Tayler Fowler, Lindsey Fowler, Tyler Fowler; and one great-great grandchild, Bennett Baker.
