Nine earn degrees from UWA
The University of West Alabama held fall commencement exercises Sat., Dec. 13, conferring undergraduate, master’s and education specialist degrees from the colleges of business, education, liberal arts, natural sciences and mathematics and the School of Graduate.
Nine Morgan County students were among the nearly 500 fall 2014 graduates.
Wendy Hembree, John Landers and Leah Turner, all of Hartselle, earned a master’s degree in education.
Miranda Ball and Brett Voss, both of Danville, earned an education specialist certification and master’s degree in education, respectively.
Kevia Clarke and Tamya Thompson, both of Decatur, earned a master’s degree in education and a bachelor of science degree, respectively.
Sarah Bragwell of Falkville and Aladie Maxwell of Somerville both earned master’s degrees in education.
