Hartselle woman faces narcotics, theft charges
A Hartselle woman was arrested after authorities found controlled substances in her vehicle and residence during a search Thursday.
Morgan County Task Force agents obtained information from a concerned citizen that Jilandra W. Lindley, a licensed practical nurse at Brookshire Nursing Home in Huntsville, was stealing prescribed medications from patients and selling them to various individuals in Morgan county.
Agents requested assistance from the Madison-Morgan STAC Unit to make contact with Lindley as she left the nursing home. STAC agents stopped her for a traffic violation and discovered 20 Hydrocodone pills, Clonazepam (both controlled substances) and several vials of insulin. Lindley was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and theft of property second degree.
Morgan Drug Agents and Hartselle officers executed a search warrant at 100 Puckett Road, Apt. C in Hartselle Thursday. They found Christopher Breeding in the apartment with an 8-month-old child. Breeding was arrested on outstanding warrants with the Decatur Police Department.
Agents conducted a search of the apartment and found numerous prescription medications belonging to Brookshire patients.
Lindley is a suspect in thefts of controlled substances from patients at the nursing home and an amount of money from a patient. She has felony charges pending in Huntsville in reference to the money theft, and her bond was set at $10,000 in Huntsville.
