Funeral for Harriet J. Sharrott Griffin, 73, of Hartselle will be Sat., Jan. 24, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Bruce Martin and Roger Martin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Fri., Jan. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Griffin died Wed., Jan. 21, 2015, at her residence. She was born Jan. 3, 1942, in Morgan County to Norman Corbitt Sharrott and Clara Lucille Norris Sharrott. She was retired from Hartselle Medical Center, where she was Director of Medical Records. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Wayne Griffin; her parents; a brother, Kenneth Sharrott; and two sisters, Virginia Segars and Dorothy Wright.

She is survived by four daughters, Melissa Harris, Marlina Martin (Bruce), Marie Griffith (John) and Marty Hall (Howell); a brother, Frank Sharrott; three sisters, Ozelle McAbee, Amanda Sandlin and Gail Puckett; five grandsons; five granddaughters; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Seth Jacks, Wil Hall, Ty Griffith, Winston Hall, Zach Martin and Alex Ferryman.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Hospice of the Valley for their care.
