Paula Sue McCravy

Funeral for Paula Sue McCravy, 68, of Vinemont will be Mon., Feb. 2, at 2 p.m., at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Paul Monk, Steve Rodgers and George Redding officiating and Cullman Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Friendship Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be Sun. from 5:30 to 9 p.m at the funeral home.

Mrs. McCravy died Fri., Jan. 30, 2015, at UAB Hospital. She was born May 12, 1946 to Paul and Bernice Higdon. She was a member of Friendship Methodist Church for over 50 years. She loved singing in church and singing with the Sunshine Ladies Outreach Group. She was a retired school bus driver. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jeff McCravy; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dewey and Gladys McCravy; step-father-in-law, Frank Graul; daughter-in-law, Joan Williams McCravy; sister-in-law, Irene McCravy; brother-in-law, Jack McCravy; nephew, Kevin McCravy.

She is survived by her husband, Donald McCravy; son, David (Amanda) McCravy; granddaughter, Layna Arcega (Victor); great-grandsons, Noah and Eli Arcega;  brother, Eddie Dale Higdon (Becky); nephew, Dusty Higdon and family (Jessica), Perry McCravy and family (Patti), Steve McCravy, Jerry McCravy and Randy McCravy; nieces, Brook Higdon, Karen Martin & family (Larry), Tammy Sharritt, Christy Burgess (Shaun); brother-in-law, Ray McCravy; half aunt, Brenda Dale Whitting; half uncle, Comer Murphy;  pet, Tipper; host of step-great-grandchildren; and friends and loved ones.
