William Delbert Joe Lindsey

Funeral for William Delbert Joe Lindsey, 81, of Falkville will be Sun., Feb. 1, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Kinney officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Eva Cemetery. Visitation will be Sat., Jan. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Lindsey died Thur., Jan. 29, 2015, at Brookwood Medical Center. He was born June 23, 1933, in Morgan County to William Orbin Lindsey and Ruby Jo Harris Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey was a wonderful husband and father. He was a great blessing to his community and will be missed by those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bobby and Wesley Lindsey; and a sister, Dean Lindsey Perdue.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Lindsey; a daughter, Stacey Fowler (David); a brother, James Lindsey (Sharon); three grandchildren, Tayler Fowler, Lindsey Fowler and Tyler William Fowler.

Pallbearers will be Allen Perdue, Stan Drinkard, Tommy Phillips, Eric Crawford, Pat Campbell and Allen Kinney.
