Auburn QB speaks at Fairview

Members of Falkville Senior Center dined at Chow King Restaurant in Decatur for their monthly outing Fri., Feb. 6.

Included in the group were Faye Anders, Martha Asherbranner, Linda Ball, Carol Cole, Martha Garrison, Judy McClellan, Robert Morris, Charles and Linda Williams, Jackie Turney, Barbara Asherbranner and Floyd and Grace Bradford.

Falkville Senior Center extend birthday wishes to Linda Williams. Her special day was Feb. 13.

The children and youth of Fairview: The Grace Place were in charge of the morning service Sun., Feb. 1. They were also greeters.

Jonathan Wallace, QB for Auburn, was the guest speaker at Fairview: The Grace Place Wed.., Feb. 4. Hotdogs were served after service for a fundraiser for youth camp.

Lunch and brunch group met at Libby’s Restaurant in Priceville, Tues., Feb. 3.

Among those enjoying this event were Kenneth and Peggy McClellan, Marie McClellan, Jo and Melba Nelson, Howard and Helen Gibson, Kathy Gray, Ralph and Mary Alice Nelson, J.L. and Sanders, Ray and Betty Sanders and Wilma Depreast.

The Falkville Public Library will conduct a board meeting Feb. 23, at 4 p.m.

Board members are Rhona Summerford, Kay Farr, Pamela McDonald, Tina Rogers and Jane Hill.

Feb. 18: Homemade chili, grilled cheese, grilled chicken, canned vegetables, broccoli with cheese, crackers and fresh pears.

Feb. 19: Chicken nuggets, meatloaf, creamed potatoes, canned vegetables, cole slaw, wheat rolls and fresh clementines.

Feb. 20: Catfish, ham and cheese, hushpuppies, vegetables, sweet potatoes, fruit and brownie.

Feb. 23: Cheesy chicken, peppers and onions, chicken fillet sandwich, refried beans, baby carrots, canned vegetables and canned fruit.

Feb. 24: Spaghetti, stromboli, broccoli with cheese, corn nuggets, canned fruit and brownie

Feb. 25: Taco soup, cheese toast, spicy chicken patty, carrot and celery, canned vegetables, tortilla chips and canned fruit.

Feb. 26: Chicken nuggets, cheese pizza, creamed potatoes, canned vegetables, cole slaw, wheat rolls, fresh bananas and cranberry crunch.

Feb. 27: White chili, Mexican pizza, salad bar, frozen vegetables, celery, crackers and tangerines.
