Helping Our Children Banquet slated March 7

Hartselle-Morgan County Community Task Force will sponsor its 2nd Annual Helping Our Children Excel Banquet Sat., March 8, at 6 p.m. at Hartselle Fine Arts Center.

A silent action will be held from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person. Reserved tables are available at $400 for gold, $300 for silver and $200 for regular. Vic Wilson, superintendent of Hartselle City School, will be the keynote speaker.

All proceeds will benefit the free after-school tutoring program and SPUDS (Summer Program Utilizing and Developing Skills).

The Hartselle-Morgan County Community Task Force was established to bring the community together and help our children. The free after-school tutoring program utilizes the skills of paid certified teachers and tutors, along with a staff of volunteers and community partners.
