E-911 Director Ryan Welty said Feb. 18 he has received ordinances from all five municipalities authorizing the move.

“I’m working with our attorney to prepare bid specifications,” he said, “and the subject will be discussed at our board meeting on Feb. 19.”

At that meeting, the board granted approval to proceed with the letting of bids at thee appropriate time.

Welty said bid specifications would be distributed to the participating municipalities for approval after they are approved by the board’s attorney.

“We should have an advertisement out for bids within the next two to three weeks,” he added.
