Hartselle used a six-run fourth inning to blow out the Lady Blue Devils in the season opener Friday during the Spain Park Tournament.

The third-inning rally only included two hits, as the Lady Tigers walked five times in the inning. Sydnee Wiley cashed in on a bases loaded at bat with a two-run single.

Jada Hayes paced the Lady Tigers with a 2-for-3 effort, including two runs scored. She also struck out seven batters while allowing two earned runs on two hits, one of which was a home run.

Other hitters for Hartselle included doubled by Hope Cain and Hannah Jenkins and singles by Riley Corum and Sara Faulk. Ali Forth, Corum, Bailey Powell and Gracie Poe all had RBIs.
