Stephenson makes impact in Calhoun win
Calhoun Community College split a double header against St. Petersburg as the last leg of a road trip to Florida.
Hartselle graduate Leah Stephenson hit a single in the first game, which Calhoun won 7-1. Stephenson is a sophomore outfielder for the Lady Warhawks.
Calhoun lost the second game 1-0 after giving up only one hit in the sixth inning that allowed a runner to break the scoreless tie.
Calhoun is now 4-7-2 on the season.
They traveled to Northeast Mississippi Tues., Feb. 24 for a double header.
Their next game will be at home Wed., Feb. 25 against Martin Methodist College at 1 and 3 p.m.
