Jada Hayes hit a solo home run, but it wasn’t enough to help her own cause.

She took the loss, allowing three earned runs and one unearned run on seven hits and no walks with six strikeouts. Hope Cain allowed three unearned runs on two hits with no walks.

Ali Forth and Bailey Powell had the only other hits for Hartselle. Forth scored on Powell’s RBI single.
