Two restaurants, shoe store coming to Hartselle
The Hartselle Shoppes shopping center on U.S. 31 has three new tenants on the way.
Athens developer Bill Ming, owner of Ming Enterprises, said the shopping center is fully leased. Ming Enterprises built and operates the 17,600 square foot shopping center, which is anchored by a new Dollar Tree that opened in January.
Shoe Show, a family footwear chain with 1,200 locations based out of Rocky Mount, N.C., will occupy 3,500 square feet.
Marco’s Pizza, headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, with over 500 locations, will occupy 1,560 square feet. Ming said Marco’s is the nation’s fastest growing pizza chain based on the number of new units opened since 2007 and are known for their “Authentic Italian Pizza with fresh ingredients.”
Ninja Japanese Steakhouse owners located in the Crossings of Decatur will be opening Ninja II occupying 2,500 square feet specializing in Japanese, Chinese and Thai cuisine offering dine-in and carry out.
The center is located on the west side of U.S. 31 on a two and one-half acre tract of land north of Jack’s Family restaurant in front of Wal-Mart.
“All three of these tenants are new business to Hartselle and will provide jobs and generate new sales taxes,” Ming said. “Targeted opening dates are mid-to-late summer 2015 for all three of these businesses. Interior construction should begin in the next 30 days.”
