Falkville church to hold midnight run

The Young at Heart of First Baptist Falkville celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by going green. Everyone wore something green and brought a dish with green food or in a green dish. Enjoying going green were: June Walling, John Moore, Rita Burden, Margaret Ayre, Bruce and Georgia Treece, C.A. and Lola Blevins, Barbara Fields, Joe and Fran Edmondson, Geraldine Rowe, Karla Burcham, Dean Nelson, John and Martha Nelson, Alfred and Linda Bryan, Dwight and Linda Alldredge and Bob Ramey.

Bruce Treece spoke on the history of St. Patrick and closed with prayer.

Birthday wishes are extended to Adell Gibson on April 3 from Jeanne Blackmon.

Birthday wishes are extended to Lavon Gibson. His special day is April 8.

Easter greetings are sent to members of BYW of First Baptist Church Falkville from Jeanne Blackmon.

Jeff and Tiffany Caudill announce the arrival of their son Nathanial Gage on March 10. Grandparents are Don and Charlotte Morris and Carolyn Caudill.

Wayne and Gail Howard celebrated her birthday at the home of her parents, Herman and Adell Gibson.

Belated birthday wishes are sent to Melinda Haynes from her mother Jenny Asherbranner. Her special day was March 30.

Fairview: The Grace Place will sponsor their third annual midnight run May 15, at 11:59 p.m.

Proceeds will go toward the local food pantry at Carpenter’s Cabinet at Falkville. For more information, call 256-784-5642.

Reid and Reagan Dean celebrated their first birthday March 21, with a “You are my sunshine theme.” The party was held at Booth Meadow Clubhouse, and it was decorated with a smiling sun.

Attending this happy event were their parents, Marcus and Dorice Dean, siblings, Gwyn Dean and McKenzie Dean, grandparents, Mark and Young Dean, and Delane and Darlene McCormick and great-great-grandmother, Yenora Yarbrough.
