Funeral for Joshua Dewayne Davis, 25, of Lacey’s Spring, was Thur., May 21, at 3:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Grange Hall Cemetery in Trinity.

Mr. Davis died Sat., May 16, 2015. He was born October 12, 1989, in Morgan County to Perry Dewayne Davis and Betty Renee Hollis Davis. He was a detailer for Lee’s Magic Tunnel Car Wash and was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bradley Jr. Hollis; his grandmother, Barbara Laymon; and a cousin, Michael Ray Tippet.

He is survived by a daughter, Neveah; his father, Perry Dewayne Davis (Angie), of Trinity; his mother, Renee Davis, (Doiley M. Suits) of Lacey’s Spring; a brother, Daniel Davis of Trinity; two sisters, April Ledlow (Jessie) and Leah Sapp (Justin), both of Decatur; a stepbrother, Andrew Earp of Trinity; a stepsister, Heather Cottingham of Decatur; his grandparents, Marvin and Betty Laymon and Terry and Marie Davis, all of Decatur; stepgrandfather, J.C. Laymon of Decatur; an uncle, Magee Laymon; four nieces; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
