Calhoun Community Education Classes

Calhoun Community Huntsville campus and Alabama Center for the Arts in Decatur is offering several education classes this summer.

The list consists of Safari Art Camp presented by the Alabama Center for the Arts host Treasure Hunters, June 8-11 (ages 5-7), Rainforest Rangers, June 22-25 (ages 8-11) and Amazon Artists, July 6-9 (ages 12 and up).

There are also two classes on digital photography, Digital Photography Part 1, June 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Huntsville campus. The Alabama Center for the Arts will hold digital photography workshops, Sat., June 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sun., June 28, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Yoga classes will be offered at the Huntsville campus and Alabama Center for the Arts. Call for dates and times.

A ceramics class will be June 22 – July 29, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Alabama Center for the Arts.

A Spanish class will be offered June 15 – July 24 from 1-3 p.m., at the Calhoun Huntsville campus. A colored pencil Art class will be June 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Alabama Center for the Arts and a photo restoration class will be June 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Alabama Center for the Arts.

A classical drawing class will be June 4 – July 9, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Alabama Center for the Arts and another classical drawing class will be June 13 and 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Calhoun Huntsville campus.
