Priceville Boys and Girls Club open

The new Priceville Boys and Girls Club is now in the fifth week of its summer camp program.

New applicants are still encouraged to register until camp ends July 31. The camp is open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for kids ages 5-18.

Members enjoy fieldtrips and entertainment throughout the summer, including the Healthy Habits and Triple Play programs that teach healthy eating and exercise habits. The club also has access to baseball fields, basketball courts and playgrounds in Priceville.

The camp currently has 16 kids on roll with about 10 attending on a regular basis, but the program is equipped to handle as many as 46.

The summer camp program operates on a week-by-week basis with a fee of $60 per child per week. Parents are allowed to choose which weeks students attend and do not have to pay for weeks they do not attend.

The Priceville Boys and Girls Club is located at 103 Saye Drive in Priceville immediately behind the Veteran’s Memorial Park.
