Hartselle hosts 15u Junior State

Hartselle is hosting the 15u Junior State baseball tournament July 10-13.

American Legion Baseball teams from all over the state will be participating in the four-day tournament at Sparkman Park.

The tournament will begin Friday at 9:30 a.m. and conclude with a championship Monday at 2:30 p.m.

The 16 teams will be divided into four pools. The Army pool will consist of West Limestone, Priveville, Florence and Gordo. The Air Force pool will consist of Cullman Warriors, East Limestone, Dothan and Tuscaloosa. The Navy pool will consist of Cullman Patriots, Athens, Troy and North River. The Marines pool will consist of Buckhorn, Admore, Hartselle and Pickens County.

The schedule will be as follows:

Fri., July 10 

9:30 a.m.- West Limestone vs. Priceville

Noon- West Limestone vs. Florence

Noon- Athens vs. Cullman Patriots

2:30 p.m.- Priceville vs. Florence

2:30 p.m.- Buckhorn vs. Ardmore

5 p.m.- Tuscaloosa vs. Cullman Warriors

5 p.m.- North River vs. Cullman Patriots

7:30 p.m.- Pickens County vs. Ardmore

Sat., July 11

9:30 a.m.- North River vs. Athens

9:30 a.m.- Tuscaloosa vs. East Limestone

Noon- Gordo vs. Florence

Noon- Hartselle vs. Pickens County

2:30 p.m.- Troy vs. Athens

2:30 p.m.- Dothan vs. East Limestone

5 p.m.- Dothan vs. Cullman Warriors

7:30 p.m.- Troy vs. Cullman Patriots

Sun., July 12

9:30 a.m.- Cullman Warriors vs. East Limestone

9:30 a.m.- Gordo vs. Priceville

Noon- North River vs. Troy

Noon- Tuscaloosa vs. Dothan
