Kenneth “P.K.” Morgan

Funeral for Kenneth “P.K.” Morgan, 67, of Decatur will be Fri., July 17, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Roundtop Cemetery.

Mr. Morgan died Mon., July 13, 2015, at his residence. He was born Sept. 20, 1947, in North Carolina to Charles Edward and Eunice Ingram Morgan. He was self-employed as a HVAC technician for his own company, P.K.’s Heating and Cooling. He was a member of the Rising Sun Masonic Lodge in Decatur and was a Vietnam War veteran, serving with the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Eugene Morgan.

He is survived by two sons, Kenny Morgan and Scotty Slaten (Tammy), both of Hartselle; three daughters, Beverly Morgan of Decatur and Ann Kirby (Randy) and Teresa Kent, both of Hartselle; a sister, Phyllis Dutton of Decatur; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Morgan, Kristian Morgan, Jordan Milam, Michael Kent, Mark Dutton and Rusty Slaten.

Honorary pallbearer will be Terry Silas.
