Minnie “Billie” Lee Segars

Funeral for Minnie “Billie” Lee Segars, 75, of Hartselle was Thur., July 16, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. A. Ray Lee officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Herring Cemetery.

Mrs. Segars died Mon., July 13, 2015, at her residence. She was born July 17, 1939, in Lawrence County to Jas Eaphriom Thompson and Katie Green Thompson. She was employed by UAW at the Saginaw-Delphi Plant prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Segars; her parents; three brothers; and eight sisters.

She is survived by a son, Reggie L. Segars (Sharon) of Hartselle; a daughter, Rhonda Childers (Jeff) of Trinity; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Scott, William, Buddy, Elvis, Ken and Jared.

Honorary pallbearer was Keaton.
