The Morgan County Sherriff’s Department arrested five people Mon., July 13, and Tues., July 14, in three separate incidents for drug-related and felony charges.

Chad Eric Burgreen, 48, was arrested at the Hartselle Shell Station near Interstate 65 after police responded to reports that a person was possibly doing drugs in the restroom. Later that evening, deputies responded to reports of an unattended fire at 99 Old Trinity Road in Decatur. The deputies made contact with the residents of the home, James Mccormack, 44; Victoria Pace, 43; and Dora Flake, 38. After the deputies smelled a chemical odor that related to the manufacture of methamphetamine, the Morgan County Drug Task Agents were called to the scene and obtained a search warrant. They found coffee filters containing pill binder, salt and other methamphetamine equipment in the burn file. They also located an empty box of cold medicine containing pseudoephedrine, numerous syringes, smoking devices

Mccormack and Pace had previously been charged with unlawful manufacture first degree but were out on bond.

The following day, Timothy Nikita Ikner, 27, was arrested at an apartment on the block of 2900 Wimberly Drive in Decatur after a warrant was released for his arrest. Morgan County Drug Task Force Agents had purchased marijuana from
