Funeral for Wendell Luker, 76, of Cotaco will be Thur., Aug. 27, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Freddie Childs officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Thur., Aug. 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Luker died Sun., Aug. 23, 2015. He was born April 28, 1939, in Morgan County to Zeddie Mabrem Luker and Nettie Elizabeth Henderson Luker.

He is survived by a brother, William Alton Luker; three nieces, Betty Drinkard (Allen) of Hartselle, Willma Jo Clifton (Jerry) of Decatur and Gena Marie Hitt (Pat) of Somerville; a nephew, Ronnie Lee Luker of Tenn.; several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Greg Abercrombie, Matthew Abercrombie, Ted Grantland, David Grantland, James Russell, Larry Slater, Don Murphy, Joel Gurley and Kenneth Roberts.
