Robert L. “Buddy” Roberson

Funeral for Robert L. “Buddy” Roberson, 65, of Hartselle will be Sun., Oct. 11, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Michael Gunter, Brother Josh Sparkman and Brother Leonard Weaver officiating.

Burial will be in Herring Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Sat., Oct. 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Roberson died Thurs., Oct. 8, 2015, in Prattville. He was born Jan. 30, 1950, in Flomaton to Robert Kilby Roberson and Fannie Lee Wiggins Roberson, He loved being a mechanic and was a member of the Bee Line Classic Car Club. He was an avid fisherman and attended the No Fences Cowboy Church.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Orr Smith Roberson of Hartselle; four sons, Robert S. Roberson (Terri) of Eight Mile, Billy Joe Roberson (Michelle) of Chunchula, Phillip L. Roberson (Joy) of Chunchula, Charles Glenn Smith (Sharon) of Moulton; two daughters, Sharron S. Phillips (Jack) of Hartselle; Janet R. Smith of Franklin, Tenn.; two sisters, Gracie Peek and Faith Childs, both of Mobile; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Atkins, Joe Roberson, Graham Wilson, Sam NeSmith, Jack Phillips and Wayne Ingram.
