Priceville supports rock wall for PES

Priceville Town Council approved $1,790 to Priceville Elementary School for the purchase of a rock-climbing wall for the school’s playground at a regular meeting December 14.
The Council acted on other matters as follows:
•Approved payment of bills totaling $142,996.41 for the month of November
•Approved $795 to Verdin Bells and Clocks for the renewal of a yearly maintenance agreement
•Approved $1,038.45 to City Tech for service support on business licenses with a cost of living increase of 5%
•Approved $1,305 for renewal of the National Fire Code subscription service.
Mayor Melvin Duran reported that the 2015 Priceville Christmas Parade was a “total success.”
“We had one of the largest parades I can remember,” he said. “There were 14 floats (a record) and about 50 parade entries.”
He invited council members to attend a Christmas dinner for senior citizens at the Priceville Senior Center Wed., Dec. 23, at 11 a.m.
