Judson E. “Jed” Davis III

Judson Ervill “Jed” Davis, III, 54, died at his residence Sat., Jan. 16, 2016. He was born at Decatur General Hospital July 20, 1961. He was a graduate of Decatur High School, Athens State University and a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed many hobbies, including remote control model airplane flying, motorcycle riding, magician, watching Alabama football games and playing Blue grass gospel music. Mr. Davis delighted in performing his magic tricks for the young. Playing the guitar was his favorite pastime. He was particularly adept at maintaining his and his friend’s vehicles.
He is survived by his parents, Judson E. Davis Jr. and Marian Bloodworth Davis; his sister, Katheryne Davis White (David); and brother, James Alexander Bloodworth Davis (Kumiko).
