“Kylie Miller did a great job on mound keeping us in the game until our bats got going. Defense played well all night. Reagan and Madison did great in relief.” Potter said  “We had a bunch of quality at-bats as a team tonight and any time you put together a quality at bat you give yourself a chance to succeed and a bunch of those added up usually lead to wins. Very pleased with our effort and execution, great team win.” Potter would continue. “Watching the game, you wouldn’t have known 9 of our 14 had been with cheer and basketball until yesterday. “ Potter said “We knocked off a little rust and played well for a mid-season game much less the first game of the year.”
