First Baptist Falkville children enjoy Feb. 13th Valentine’s dinner

Belated birthday wishes from First Baptist Falkville go out to Tim Womack, Jason Rowe and Jerry Woods, all on Feb. 1; Racheal Ayre on Feb. 4; Misty Irwin on Feb. 11; Rita Burden on Feb. 12; Margaret Ayre and Jeff Lee, both on Feb.13; and Teresa Cadle on Feb. 16.

Happy birthday wishes to Bro. Greg Burcham and Tiffany Caudill, both on Feb.17; Dylan Kyle on Feb. 19, Gregory Edmondson on Feb. 20; Tammy Thompson and David Teague, both on Feb. 21; Evan Klocek on Feb. 22; and Juanita Womack on Feb. 26.

Allie and Jesse Musall of Manchester, Tenn., announce the arrival of their son, River James Musall. He is the great-grandson of Ronna Halbrooks. Grandparents are Alton and Ann Brown of Meriden, Miss., Harold and Dawn Sowley of Trinity and John and Deb Musall of Manchester, Tenn.

Visiting with Adell Gibson have been Franklin and Sue Harrison of Decatur, Ethel Mae Morris of Cullman and Jackie Stidham.

The children and preschool departments at First Baptist Falkville hosted a Valentine’s Day party and celebrated Children’s Ministry Day on Sat., Feb. 13. The children enjoyed pizza, chips, cookies and drinks. They created a handprint mural and made and delivered Valentine cards to our church members at Summerford Nursing Home. Those attending were Ronna and David Halbrooks, Sarah Laughmiller, Michelle Ferrell and children, Abby, Lilly and Hudson, Mary Travers and children, Alana and Olivia, Bro. Stephen Cannon and children, Will, Savannah and Bethany, Tyler Whiteley, Austin and Crystal Williams and children, Cooper, Lydia and Eve, Janet Woods and grandchildren, Amberleigh, Asher and Mia Kirkpatrick, Patrick and Jillian Smith, John Lockhart and Maebec Halbrooks and children, Maggie and Gunner.

Members of First Baptist Falkville enjoyed an evening of dinner and entertainment on Sat., Feb. 13. Dinner was catered by Cahoots Café and consisted of chicken, roast beef, green beans, potato salad, mac and cheese, salad, rolls and dessert. The tables were decorated with a Valentine theme. Following dinner Elvis (Vaughn Burden and David Halbrooks) and Gary Rhodes provided musical entertainment, Some fun games were also played. Those attending were Bro. Stephen and Anna Cannon, Charlie and Judy Glover, Vaughn and Rita Burden, Deanise Weaver, Jo and Fran Edmondson, June Walling, Jon and Mary Travers. Don and Charlotte Morris, Don and Pat Nelson and Pat’s sister, Judy, Mike and Deborah Thompson, Patrick and Jillian Smith, Dean Nelson, C. A. and Lola Blevins, Austin and Crystal Williams, Greg and Karla Burcham, Gary Rhodes, Charlie and Marlene Whiteley, Sid and Bonnie Sawyer, Zac and Michelle Ferell, Jim and Teesa Cadle, Geraldine Rowe, Barbra Fields and Eddie and Vanessa Johnson.

Hint: Do not laugh at old age, some folks never make it.
