Danville slams Addison and Parker

Danville got off to a fast start against the Addison Bulldogs and never looked back. The Hawks scored 11 runs in the first 3 innings and cruised to a 15-0 win in 5 innings. Carson Owens had a huge game as he went 3-3 at the plate with two singles and a home run. Other leaders for the Hawks were Dalton Parker and Jackson Locklear both with 2 hits. Locklear also had 3 RBIs while Owens had 2. Parker got the win on the mound as he pitched all 5 innings with 12 first pitch strikes and 6 strikeouts.

Later in the week, Danville would take on Parker high school. The first three innings would go scoreless but Danville would explode in the fourth inning with 6 runs. They would use that big inning to cruise to a 9-0 win. Weston Krohe picked up the win with 12 first strike pitch’s and 7 strikeouts. Krohe and Jacob Holder led the Hawks with 2 hits. Landon Tidwell had 2 RBIs.
