The Hartselle Lady Tigers traveled to Gulf Shores for spring break just like a lot of people in Alabama, but for them it was a business trip. The Tigers would compete in a three day tournament that featured them playing in seven games.

Hartselle would face off with Pisgah and East Limestone during day one.

They would get off to a rocky start in the tournament as they dropped both games on opening day.

The Tigers would struggle to get the bats going against Pisgah as they managed just three hits. Hope Cain would give a tough performance on the mound throwing 15 first pitch strikes and 4 strikeouts while allowing 3 runs on 5 hits.

The second game would feature more of the same. Hartselle would struggle to get the bats going as they were outhit 7-3 and held scoreless in a 3-0 loss. Cain would once again put in a strong effort on the mound with 18 first pitch strikes and 7 strikeouts.

Hartselle would turn their fortunes around on the second day as they 2-2.

They would face Hancock from Mississippi in the first game. Kaitlyn Spangler would get the first points for Hartselle after Kennadi Hogan hit a double to allow her to score. In the second inning, Hartselle would tack on to their lead when Spangler drove in Cain with a single to go up 2-0 and eventually win the game. Kennadi Hogan went 3-3 at the plate with a double and two singles. Gracie Poe pitched a near perfect game as she allowed only 1 hit and 0 runs the whole game.

Hartselle would take on Prattville in the second game. Hartselle would fall behind 1-0 on the first inning but would take the lead back in the fourth with scores from Kalli Cartee and Brooklyn Wallace. A single from Wallace would prove to be the deciding play. Cain and Poe would work together to get it done on the mound. Cain would finish with 7 first pitch strikes and 4 strikeouts while Poe had 3 first pitch strikes

The last day of the tournament would feature the Tigers playing in three games.

In the first game, Hartselle would take on Clements. The Tigers exploded in the first inning with 5 runs to take a 5-0 lead. Cain, Poe, Cartee and Lindsey Robinson would all have RBI singles in the first inning. Clements would try to make a comeback but Hartselle would take the win 6-4. Cain and Hogan both led Hartselle with 2 hits. Hogan went 2-2 with singles in the second and fourth innings. Poe would get the win on the mound.

In the second game, Hartselle would take on DAR. The Tigers would score 3 runs in the second and 2 in the third to take a 5-0 win. Mary Jane Wooley was very effective behind the plate as she doubled in the second and third innings. Cain got the pitching win, as she pitched a no hitter.

However, the Tigers would end the tournament with a loss to Sumiton Christian 3-1.
