Pet Peeve: Whenever I go to a restaurant to eat and the first thing the server will ask is what I would like to drink before taking my order. I like to order my food first and then blend the drink with it. Not just any drink will  go with certain foods.

The Falkville Public Library Board members met Tues., March 15. They discussed combining the Open House with their 25th anniversary to be held in the fall.

Traveler safety tips. Whenever you are traveling, do not wear any type of clothing nor shoes with your school or state on them. By wearing these items, it will show you are a tourist and draw attention to you and could cause you to be robbed. Local people would not be wearing clothes of this type.

Falkville Public Library hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and closed from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch and closes Wednesday after noon. Go by the library today and check out a good read.

Sign of growing old: you sit in a rocking chair and can not get to going.
