Who knows you better than anyone? Perhaps your family, a friend or someone you never thought of. In Jeremiah 1:4-5 we find: Then the word of the Lord came unto me, (Jeremiah) saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest out of the womb I sanctified thee. God knows you just as he knew Jeremiah.
We all have a purpose in this life. When you get discouraged remember: A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps (Prov. 16:9). He knows you and he plans for you. We just have to be willing to be part of his plan for our good and his glory. Psalm 139:14 says: I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Once again, God blessed our family with a wonderful Easter together. We met at the home of my sister and brother-in-law, Kaye and Mike Widener. We all enjoyed a delicious meal. Those attending were Mike’s parents, Bill and Glynice Widener, my parents, Fred and Evelyn Motes, Nathan, Javon and Jarrod Alldredge, Darren, Roxanne, and Racheal Tucker, Freddy, Rhonda and John Dale Motes, Kelsey Fairbanks, Ryan, Kayla and Olivia Kretzer, formerly of St. Louis, MO. It’s good to have Ryan, Kayla and Olivia back home in Alabama. This is Olivia’s first Easter. She recently turned three-months-old.
